Great area for scouting and camping. You could use a campground area or use their Lodge for sleeping great dining hall and many other facilities. Ground seem to be well kept. They have a firing range. A great place to take your troops and if you make arrangements a range master may be able to be there for your boys to practice.

Camp Horseshoe is probably one of the best summer experiences that any boy scout could ask for. As a camper, CIT, and soon to be staff member, it does not get much better than Camp Horseshoe. They offer almost every eagle required merit badge and an AMAZING range of elective merit badges. On top of that, their campsites offer an amazing outdoor feel of what boy scouts is all about.
Went with two fun scouts, they both had a great time. Overall a good camp with good staff. A few minor hiccups, but generally great place.
I went to this camp two years ago as a cub scout and just yester day as a boy scout den chief and the camps amazing for everyone great staff great food and lots of activities and classes for everyone
